The Q Gen 2 is the ultimate travel golf club, a single 8-in-1 club that replaces a whole bag. One honest word before you buy: the Q Gen 2 is non conforming for official competition, and that is by design. It is made for the casual golf most of us actually play, the trip, the range, the evening nine, the par 3 at dusk with friends.
⛳ 8-in-1 adjustable head
The head is the heart of the Q. A single push and twist, with no tools and no loose parts to drop in the rough, moves it through eight settings, and a haptic click tells you exactly where you are without ever taking your eyes off the ball.
The lie angle progresses with the loft, so every setting sits behind the ball like the club it stands in for. You change it between shots, not between rounds.
🔩 Two part travel shaft with DuraLock™
The shaft is where this portable golf club earns its place in your luggage. It splits down to just 52 cm, short enough for standard cabin luggage, a car boot, a motorhome locker or a tight apartment, which is exactly how the club goes where a bag cannot.
The two halves join with a DuraLock™ connector machined from Grade 5 titanium on a reverse threaded design. It locks tighter the harder you swing, so the biggest hit of the day is the one doing the tightening. Assembled, you get a steel shaft in regular flex at roughly 96.5 cm, and it suits most golfers straight off the shelf, from 1.60 m to 2.00 m, men and women alike. Outside that range a local club fitter can resize it like any other shaft.
✊ Custom three position grip
The grip runs about 35.5 cm, roughly 9 cm longer than a standard grip, with three gripping positions moulded straight into it so you are never guessing where to place your hands. Grip long off the tee and choke down around the green, and one shaft quietly gives you several playing lengths. It is the feature owners use most and mention least.
🏭 Precision engineered and properly tested
Q is designed in New Zealand by a team who have built clubs for major brands including TaylorMade, Nike and Titleist, and it shows in the details. The internal parts are made with Metal Injection Molding, the same process used for aerospace and medical components, and every design is put through cannon and robot testing at extreme swing speeds. The head weighs 267 g and is built from 17/4 stainless steel, refined across every aspect of the original Gen 1: design, weight, lofts and materials.

Is the Q Gen 2 legal for competition?
It is non conforming for serious competitive golf, on purpose. Q is for the rest of it: a round on a business trip, nine holes while you are away, the range, a par 3, or dusk with your friends.
Is it durable?
Yes. The team behind Q has designed clubs for Titleist, Nike and TaylorMade, so durability was a priority. The head mechanism is built to lock tighter under load, meaning it tightens as you strike the ball, the internal parts use Metal Injection Molding, and every design is cannon and robot tested at extreme swing speeds. It is covered by a 3 year warranty.
Can I take it as hand luggage?
Airport rules differ by country and security staff make the final call, so we recommend packing your Q in checked baggage. It simply screws apart and fits inside a normal suitcase, so there is no oversized baggage fee and nothing extra to carry through the airport.
Which golfers does it fit?
Off the shelf it suits players from 1.60 m to 2.00 m, both men and women. Outside that range, a local club fitter can resize the shaft like any other.
Is an adjustable club not an old idea?
The idea is old indeed. The first fully adjustable club was made back in 1893.
