Purpose-built for golf bays. The BU53RG combines 5,000 ANSI lumens of laser brightness with a 0.94–1.14 short-throw lens, letting you mount closer to the screen to reduce player shadows. With true 4K UHD (3840×2160), lens shift (H ±20% / V ±50%) and multi-point warping, it’s ideal for enclosures and tricky ceiling installs.

Perfect partner for GSPro and 4K PCs (e.g., RTX 4070/5070). Expect a bright, punchy image on large impact screens—even with ambient light.

⭐ Why it’s great for simulators

  • 5,000-lumen laser for bright rooms and large impact screens
  • Short throw 0.94–1.14 minimizes shadows from the golfer and club
  • Lens shift & warping for clean ceiling mounts and off-center installs
  • 4K/60 input via HDMI—crisp fairways and green contours in GSPro
  • 20,000-hour light source for low maintenance

📐 Simulator throw guide (by screen width, 16:9)

Throw distance ≈ 0.94–1.14 × screen width (measured from lens to screen plane).

Screen width Image height Throw distance range
244 cm 137.2 cm 229–278 cm
274 cm 154.1 cm 258–312 cm
305 cm 171.6 cm 287–348 cm
366 cm 205.9 cm 344–417 cm

…or by diagonal (16:9)

Diagonal Image width Image height Throw distance range
100″ 221.4 cm 124.5 cm 208–252 cm
120″ 265.7 cm 149.4 cm 250–303 cm
144″ 318.8 cm 179.3 cm 300–363 cm

Mounting tip: With V ±50% lens shift you can place the lens roughly within ±50% of image height above/below the screen center—e.g., on a 120″ 16:9 (height ≈ 149 cm), you have ~75 cm vertical leeway. Use lens shift first; keep keystone/warping as fine-tune.

❓ FAQ

Is 5,000 lumens enough with lights on?

Yes—5,000 lm keeps the image bright on large screens in typical bay lighting. For very wide screens, consider a higher-gain impact surface.

How do I avoid club/head shadows?

Mount closer (short throw), slightly offset from the swing path, and use lens shift to center the image. Keep players behind the projector’s light cone.

Does it support 4K/60 from my PC?

Yes via HDMI 2.0. We recommend an RTX 4070/5070-class PC for smooth 4K in GSPro.
