The BenQ LK830ST combines 4K UHD laser projection with a short throw lens for golf simulator rooms with limited depth. Its 4,000 ANSI lumens help create a bright, detailed image of the course on a large impact screen.
⛳ Golf Simulator Performance
- 4K UHD (3840 × 2160) resolution
- 4,000 ANSI lumens laser light source
- Dedicated Golf picture mode
- 93% Rec.709 coverage
- 2D Keystone with vertical ±30° and horizontal ±30° adjustment
- IP6X sealed optical engine for dust protection
⛳ Golf Simulator Performance
- Golf picture mode available among the BenQ picture presets.
- 93% Rec.709 coverage for accurate colour reproduction.
- Input lag: 16.7 ms at 1080p/60Hz and 4K/60Hz, 8.3 ms at 1080p/120Hz, and 4.2 ms at 1080p/240Hz.
- 2D Keystone with vertical ±30° and horizontal ±30°, plus Corner Fit.
📽️ Large Image with Limited Throw Distance
The 0.496 throw ratio places the lens close to the screen. For a 4-metre-wide 16:9 image, the theoretical lens-to-screen distance is approximately 1.98 metres. The fixed zoom means the mounting position must be planned around your screen dimensions and swing area.
🎯 Image Adjustment & Simulator Integration
Horizontal and vertical keystone correction of ±30° and corner adjustment help align the image. Factory white balance adjustment and 93% Rec.709 coverage support natural colours. The IP6X sealed optical engine protects the optical components against dust.

📐 Planning Your Indoor Golf Installation
The distances above are estimates for a 16:9 image before digital correction. Check image dimensions, the aspect ratio of your impact screen and the clearance needed for a safe swing when choosing the mounting position. A 4:3 aspect ratio or keystone correction can change the usable image area.
Important: the ceiling mount / projector support is not included with the BenQ LK830ST and must be purchased separately.
