🏠 FlightScope Mevo Gen2 Indoor Setup

For indoor or limited-flight golf, FlightScope recommends positioning the radar approximately 8 ft / 2.44 m directly behind the golf ball.

• Sensor to tee: 7–9 ft / approximately 2.1–2.7 m
• Recommended sensor position: approximately 8 ft / 2.44 m behind the ball
• Minimum ball flight: 8 ft / approximately 2.44 m

A typical indoor installation therefore requires approximately 16 ft / 4.9 m from the launch monitor to the impact screen, before allowing for screen clearance and other room requirements.

For accurate spin measurements in limited-flight conditions, FlightScope requires either an aluminum spin sticker applied to the golf ball or a compatible Titleist RCT ball.

⛳ Outdoor & Putting Setup

For outdoor full-swing practice, FlightScope specifies approximately 7–9 ft between the Mevo Gen2 and the tee, with approximately 8 ft recommended and unrestricted ball flight beyond the hitting position.

For putting :

⚠️ Indoor Radar Environment

Because Mevo Gen2 uses radar technology, certain objects and electrical equipment can interfere with tracking when positioned close to the hitting area.

FlightScope recommends avoiding potential interference from sources such as :

• Large amounts of metal
• Heavy machinery
• Air-conditioning or HVAC equipment
• Electronic screens or computers positioned directly in front of the radar

Correct alignment and a clear path between the radar and the golf ball are also important for reliable measurements.
